Wow i did the dumbest thing you could think of. I had a look at my flight to china and i bought the wrong one!, i booked the 27th of June, not May!. How dumb am i....also since the ticket i bought was super cheap when i bought it they wont let me reshedule so i just bought another ticket for the correct day.
Let that be lesson, do not buy important unrefunable tickets at 4am.
Also my plan to buy a Japan rail pass flew out the window when i found out the train station is closed weekends so i cant buy it before my flight. Ha ha two mistakes before i even get to my first real country!
Since the rail pass would have been around $550 i will be making a running total of all my travel in Japan and will make a game out of trying to do it for less just to prove i didn't need it anyways.
